Question: Were you one of the lucky few thousand who saw the Heroes premiere at Comic-Con? — Erik Ausiello: I actually skipped out on Comic-Con this year due to, um, er… security reasons. Yeah, that's it. Luckily, my trusty moles were out in full force. One of them even attended the packed Heroes screening, and he/she reports that the Season 3 premiere is "excellent and far less confusing than last season." My spywitness adds that the episode has several funny moments and "a really scary scene reminiscent of the Scream movies."

There is still an episode in the queue cause of technical difficulties but we should also be able to record again soon.

The Ausiello Files 8/11 Exclusive: 'Heroes' Geeks Out Over Seth Green, Breckin Meyer Heroes is getting its very own geek squad. Real-life BFFs and frequent collaborators Seth Green and Breckin Meyer are nearing a deal to join the cast of Heroes for multi-episode arcs, sources confirm to me exclusively. As I first teased in this week's episode of Ausiello TV, the Robot Chicken duo will play Atlanta-based comic book nerds aficionados who cross paths with (and perhaps serve as advisors to) one of the Heroes. I'm told the names of their characters are still in flux, so there's a chance the cheeky monikers I referenced in ATV won't stick. Then again, they very well may. (Fingers crossed that at least one of them does.) Got any theories as to what higher purpose Green and Meyer may serve in the Heroesverse? Is it just me, or do these two bring to mind a certain nerdy advisory panel from another popular sci-fi franchise? C'mon, it can't just be me. ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/08/heroes-in-talks.htmlThe Ausiello Files 8/5 Question: What is up with Kristen Bell and Heroes? It’s been ages since we’ve heard anything. -- Steven Ausiello: She's back on the set shooting her multi-episode arc as we speak! Woo-hoo! In other Heroes news, look for the action (or at least part of the action) to shift to a comic book shop in Athens, Georgia around Episode 11. ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/08/ask-ausiello-sp.html

PS: Peter looks quite ok on that pic. Still I don't get why os many chicks prefer him. He's much too sleak and metro for my taste...
